Uninstall Internet Explorer 8

If you're having problems viewing webpage’s correctly using Internet Explorer 8, try Compatibility View.
To uninstall Internet Explorer 8
1. Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
2. In the left pane, click View installed updates.
3. Select Internet Explorer 8, and then click Uninstall. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to uninstall Internet Explorer 8.
5. When you're done, restart Windows.
Note
· If you uninstalled because you had an older version, or Internet Explorer 8 wasn't working correctly, you can reinstall after step 5.
· If you don't reinstall Internet Explorer 8, your computer will revert to Internet Explorer 7 and the Internet Explorer 7 cumulative updates that were on your computer before installing Internet Explorer 8. Run Windows Update to be sure your computer isn't missing the latest Internet Explorer 7 updates.

You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 after you install Windows XP Service Pack 3
1.There will be one question during installation. Check the items for software you are using. If you don't understand, please check "Microsoft Exchange/Outlook".
2. When the installation software finishes, please run Norton Antivirus software by choosing [Start] -> [Programs] -> [Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition] -> [Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition].
3.See [Configuration] -> [File System Real-time Protection] and confirm the option is checked.
4.See [Scan] -> [Scan of computer], check the hard disk, and push [Scan] at the right bottom of the window. This will scan for virus in the whole hard disk

The Windows Components Wizard opens and allows you to add or remove a Windows component by placing or removing a checkmark next to it. You can remove the checkmark next to Internet Explorer and click the “Next” button at the bottom of the page to uninstall Internet Explorer this way.
